چکیده
As an important tool for tripping of a drill-string, drill-pipe (DP)-slip system directly affects both the service life DP and target depth it can reach. In this paper, finite element (FE) model programmed in ABAQUS is used to simulate interactions within DP-slip system. For model, materials, geometric dimensions, loads, boundary conditions were determined from actual A special attention has been paid on stress field slip insert focusing parameter optimization with regards distribution, wherein factors like longitudinal groove number insert, inserts, row spacing inserts are considered. Numerical results show that circumferential distribution direction axis change stresses inner surfaces higher than outer surfaces. Effects parameters distributions studied corresponding optimized values obtained, which be when designing tools.

Two regional finite element (FE) models of a buried glass-fiber reinforced composite pipe have been developed at the National University of Singapore (NUS). The model replicates an arbitrary site whereby fuel is being transported through the 400 mm diameter line, and comprises of multiple components such as the valve pit, 45 degrees and 90 degrees pipe bends, and a service road consisting of th...
متن کاملAn adaptive finite element method for viscoplastic flows in a square pipe with stick-slip at the wall
This paper presents the numerical resolution of non-linear yield stress phenomena by using a new mixed anisotropic auto-adaptive finite element method. The Poiseuille flow of a Bingham fluid with slip yield boundary condition at the wall is considered. Despite its practical interest, for instance for pipeline flows of yield stress fluids such as concrete and cements, this problem was not yet ad...
